AFGHANISTAN: MORE THAN 24 CIVILIANS KILLED BY NATO

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A NATO air strike on a convoy in southern Afghanistan killed more than two dozen civilians, the interior ministry said Monday.

Elsewhere, a NATO ground-to-ground missile struck a car and killed one civilian, local officials said.

The Sunday air strike in the Uruzgan province killed 27 civilians and wounded 14 others, ministry spokesman Zemeri Bashary said. MORE
